Sauté the veggies in olive oil, followed by the garlic. Brown the ground beef next.

Pour in the beef broth and simmer. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes. Stir, then season with salt and pepper.

Cook the spaghetti and drain. Remove the bay leaves, then add the spaghetti to the sauce. Toss to coat.
