Shakshuka is a flavorful and savory vegetarian meal filled with tomatoes, eggs, and spices. Try serving it with crusty bread for a satisfying meatless dinner for the whole family!

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and red pepper, cook until tender. Add garlic and stir.

Add the tomatoes, cumin, paprika, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and crushed red pepper flakes. Stir and simmer.

Use a large spoon to make small wells in the sauce for the eggs. Crack the eggs into each well.

Cover the pan with a lid and cook until egg whites are opaque and yolks are soft.
