Watermelon Spritzers
Updated June 15, 2020
Happy 4th of July! Blueberry Yogurt Waffles are on our breakfast menu and then we are going to the neighborhood parade. After that, we are headed to our friend’s house for a pool party and barbecue. It should be a fun filled day!
If you are looking for an easy and refreshing drink to serve at your 4th of July party, make these Watermelon Spritzers. Don’t worry, they are super easy to make. There are only 5 ingredients involved! These no-fuss drinks are fun to serve and sip on!
Juicy watermelon is pureed and sweetened with honey and lemon. To finish the drink off, add a splash of fizzy seltzer water and garnish with fresh mint. The Watermelon Spritzers are pretty and will quench your thirst on a hot summer day! Grab a drink and sit by the pool, chill in the hammock, or relax on the patio. Cheers!

I have made several watermelon drinks this summer…can’t get enough and now I’ll have to try this one. Quite frankly, I’ve been eating watermelon as my dinner too..love it. Happy 4th!
WHAT a clever idea and they must have been fun to make too!
I’ve rustled up patriotic oreos – oreos dipped in white chocolate and covered in funfetti. I know, wicked. But terribly good!

These are so cute Maria!

Watermelon and mint is the perfect combination! This drink looks amazing, and I’d love to have some today for the 4th 🙂
Wow. That drink looks good for any day, even for the loads of people who don’t celebrate the 4th of July. Did you know only one country out of many celebrates this day, yet still most of the people who do celebrate it send good wishes to everyone as if we all celebrate it haha (makes me happy to be in Italy today). Anyway, thanks for sharing these recipes. For those who do celebrate the 4th of July, I wish you a happy one!
Yum! What a perfectly refreshing drink for the summer. Nothing beats a good fresh watermelon!
These look fantastic and perfect for a hot 4th!
Yummy! These look refreshing. Hope y’all have a happy and safe holiday!
Your site is behaving very strangely today. It starts to open a normal size on my iPad, then every few seconds it shifts and flashes reducing in size and moving to the left of the screen until it is so small, about 2inches wide on the left side of the screen with the rest of the screen blank. I can’t even read what I am typing here.
Sorry for the trouble Ruth! We are looking into the issue now. Thanks for your patience.
Cute! I can only imagine the taste! Wow!!
I can’t think of anything more refreshing!
These look super refreshing indeed! Yum!
My husband is alright with watermelon flavored foods, but not watermelon plain…I’m always searching for a new use, and I love this one!
Delish! My friend actually made a very similar drink on 4th of July, so I imagine this is super yummy too. 🙂
Maria, these are stunning drinks!
I just picked up a watermelon from my CSA this morning. I’ll have to give this recipe a try. Thanks!

I love making this in the summer
We made these yesterday… So refreshing! Great way to use up some of that left over melon I always have after buying one that is much to large for my family to eat!
These are both pretty and perfect for summer. I love the simplicity of the ingredient list!
Wow.. this looks fantastic!
I purchased a watermelon, it was 16 lbs though. What if you don’t have a kitchen scale about how much watermelon would you say would you use to equal the 2 1/2 lbs? Can’t wait to try!!!

This is an wonderful way to make my daughter eat some watermelon (she hates fruit otherwise), and it looks so lovely that all of our family members wish to have a glass of it.
Using honey and lemon instead of sugar is a great idea and I will use these items to sweeten the food as sugar is often said to have bad effects on teeth and not good altogether for our health.
watermelon spritzers are so beautiful and delicious. I think their taste is really good and wonderful. Your sharing is what I want to try in this summer. Thanks
This is my recipe: Put watermelon, lemon-lime soda, and grenadine into a blender.
Blend for 20 to 30 seconds. Use a strainer to strain into pitcher.
Divide frozen berries between 4 glasses. Pour juice over berries. Garnish with a straw and a sprig of mint.
How do you think about?
This recip looks very delicious and easy to follow. I will try it soon. Thank for share !

This drink combines some wine, some mineral water, grenadine…and of course some watermelon! I love watermelon. I eat it almost every day during the summer and I never get sick of it. Place watermelon in a blender. Cover and process until blended.
