  1. Chocolate chip are my all time favorite. However, at Christmas I love cut out cookies with buttercream icing.

  2. Chocolate-dipped, Salted Cashew Cookies! Thanks to Floating Kitchen for the recipe. I love the sweet/salty combination and usually have to be careful not to eat the whole batch myself!

  3. My almond sugar cookies are the best tasting cut-out cookie I’ve ever had. I searched for years till I found this tasty recipe. It holds it’s shape making decorating fun & easy.
And My favorite cookie at Christmas is my cocoon cookie.. mexican wedding cookies, etc…
I shape them into ovals. I find it’s less messy to eat than round, & you get a couple of bites out of each cookie. I also grind up part of the pecans like you said you do & I roll them in the powdered sugar while they are just barely still warm and again when they are cooled, which is usually right after I have finished rolling the first time. Sometimes I toast my pecans just barely if the are real fresh, to make sure I get that wonderful, lingering pecan aftertaste. Lol. They are the best cookies to go with a cup of hot coffee. Right?! Happy Holidays!

  5. My Mama has a chocolate drop cookie with a mocha frosting that is OUT of this world!!! So rich and indulgent. 🙂

  6. Snickerdoodles have to be my favorite! I’m dying to try your brown butter salted caramel snickerdoodle cookie though!!!

  7. My favorite Christmas cookies are cut outs and wedding cakes. Have to try your snickerdoodles and shortbread cookies.

  8. Can anyone pick a favorite cookie? It’s like picking a favorite child.
But I guess I’m order to qualify… the classic chocolate chip cookie. With semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips. Milk chips are no good
