- Maria’s dad is visiting and it’s fun having him here. He’s been able to go to some of the boys’ games. I think we are doing cinnamon rolls this weekend.
- A good bag for travel or outdoor adventures. This is a nice jacket.
- Caleb’s birthday is on Saturday. He is turning 14. I know some of you have been here for that long. Time is flying by.
- The best grilled cheese.

- On the blog this week, a fall favorite, a good meal prep dinner (or lunch), and a classic recipe!
- The leaves are changing in the mountains! It’s my favorite time of year!
- Perfect plaid jacket and sweater! Bonus, they are 50% off!
- The Morning Show is back and I am watching. Fingers crossed for a good season. I also watched You’ve Got Mail to kick off fall. I watch it every year!
- A good fall basic and I love this top!
- I am starting to test Thanksgiving recipes and would love your input! What do you want to see this year? You can check out all of our current Thanksgiving recipes, we have a lot already, but I am happy to make more:)
- Cute sneakers and sweater.
- I want to plant some bulbs so I have pretty flowers in the spring!
- In my purse, this and this!
- Every year Caleb requests these for his birthday treat! They are his favorite!
- I use this flaky sea salt all of the time (it’s a must for cookies). I just saw they have a smoked version. Adding it to my cart!
- My current favorite jeans are 30% off.
- I am excited for soup season!
Happy 14th Birthday to Caleb! Have a great family celebration with your dad.
I’m looking for a salad recipe for Thanksgiving with a fig jam balsamic vinaigrette, with greens, goat cheese, and candied walnuts. I’ve seen some recipes, but I’d like to see your version, Maria!
Thank you! That salad sounds amazing! I need to look for some fig jam!
https://www.kingarthurbaking.com/recipes/apple-cider-snickerdoodles-recipe I know how you love cookies. I made these last week. I think they could be a little sweeter but I loved the fact that they weren’t so sweet and that it only made 2 dozen small cookies…I didn’t make them the suggested size. I actually bought their boiled cider. I wondered what would Maria do with this recipe!!!!! So I am sharing the link. Happy Fall. We saw a moose twice at the bottom of the Collins lift. I bought new ski boots this week, too. The hummingbirds have slowed down. And, I see a bluebird again in the yard and am watching for stellar jays which means take the lawn cushions in today!!!!
Thanks for sharing! I do love cookies! I will check them out:) So cool you saw a moose!
hey girl- Great list! Such a good pic of the boys and your Dad. Yummy food and cute clothes. Happy Birthday to Caleb!! Have a blessed day!
Thanks so much! Happy day to you!
Happy birthday to Caleb!
Thank you!
I am looking forward to making the apple cranberry pie. I use my own pastry to make the dough because I have lactose issues. The rest looks super easy and delicious!
I hope you love the pie!
When I saw the picture of your dad and the boys I thought cinnamon rolls, and I need to make some. Happy Birthday Caleb.
His cinnamon rolls are the best:)
