  • It was a full week of baseball. The boys had games and we went to a University of Utah baseball game. The boys got foul balls.
  • It’s the first day of May which means summer is coming soon. We haven’t made any summer plans yet, but it would be fun to go on a family trip. Are you going anywhere?
  • Speaking of travel, here are 13 cities that are affordable to visit.

Hers

  • On the blog this week, a beautiful and hearty salad and a fresh salad that is perfect for meal prep! I can’t get enough salads right now:) Find all of my salad recipes HERE!
  • Happy first day of May! Is there anything better than the smell of lilacs? My favorite!
  • A good summer skirt! It comes in black and white too!
  • I finished Ransom Canyon, it was slow at times, but I didn’t care. I still loved it. Next up, Your Friends & Neighbors. I’ve heard it’s good.
  • Cute flats and sandals.
  • $28 dress! I got it in navy and love it! This is also a good summer tote for the pool, beach, park, etc. Comes in more colors here.
  • I made a batch of these for the freezer. They are good anytime of the day.

  6. Lilacs are almost over at our garden (central europe) and we’ve had very little rain. We need to water every couple of days already to keep our young plants happy. How’s your garden coming along?

    I promised my kid to make pistachio cookies this weekend, looking forward to that.

    Favourite chore: folding and putting away laundry 🙂 It’s so satisfiyng and calming for me, I don’t know. I love listening to podcasts while doing chores!

    1. We haven’t planted our garden yet. In Utah, they say to wait until after Mother’s Day because we usually get a late snow. The cookies sound amazing!
