  • I finally remembered to take a picture of the sauna I built in our basement. It’s not a great photo, but you can get the idea. We’ve been using it almost ever day, we really like it.
  • What a Super Bowl, we are glad the Eagles won. Sundays won’t be the same without football.
  • Caleb was sick for several days. Poor kid. It seems like everything is going around right now.
  • You have to watch this. Amazing! That is our neighbor and friend Tim. The boys love when they get to ski with him, he’s awesome.
  • The NBA All-Star Weekend starts on Friday. We will be tuning in. And there is no school tomorrow or Monday for us. We will be skiing, hopefully with some fresh snow.

  1. I will be making up a double batch of sugar cookie hearts for my son’s day program tomorrow. Otherwise, we dont celebrate the holiday.

  2. So glad Caleb is feeling better to enjoy skiing for the long weekend.
And your neighbor and friend Tim is incredible- totally awe inspiring.
    Love the sauna too!

  3. I’ve been contemplating trying Merit for a long time but afraid of spending a lot of money on the wrong shades. What color do you have for the bronze balm and highlighting balm and how did you choose them? Thank you!

    1. Several friends recommended Merit to me so I finally tried it and I LOVE it! I did a lot of research online:) Sephora also carries some of their products if you want to try on shades. All of the blush colors are great! They blend in nicely so aren’t as pigmented as they look…but you can layer for more color. I got the color Siene in the bronze balm. It blends in nicely and isn’t too dark, I love the color. I got the color Cava in the highlighting balm, it is such a pretty shimmer. I hope that helps! Let me know if you try them!

  4. Hey girl- great list! Glad Caleb is doing better. Yummy food and cute clothes. Josh did a good job on that sauna to! Have fun today getting your hair cut! Happy Valentine’s Day!!
