- Are you traveling for the holidays? We are staying home, but Maria’s dad is coming to visit, which means cinnamon rolls and good times. We will ski as many days as possible.
- These are the best for winter time. They come in kid sizes and women sizes too.
- The boys want to see Mufasa: The Lion King over break. Are there any movies you are looking forward to?
- You should probably make the Andes Mint cookies. They are good.

- On the blog this week, a festive appetizer, a fun cookie, my new favorite cookie, and a savory recipe that is perfect for Christmas morning.
- I hosted a holiday brunch for some friends yesterday. I love brunch foods!
- There is a new season of Virgin River out on Netflix. I can’t wait to watch. I am also watching all of the Christmas movies.
- I love this neutral sweater, this striped sweater, and this $25 sweater.
- Do you like wrapping presents? I do not, so I haven’t started. Josh usually comes to the rescue. He’s a good wrapper. I am more of a gift bag kind of person:)
- Classic jeans.
- A Trader Joe’s holiday taste taste! Our boys agree with their #1 item! I buy them every year.
- SO soft and I love this color.
- Nordstrom sale finds and Last minute gift ideas.
- What are you baking this weekend? I’ve been baking all month, but I am not done yet. I love this time of year! Check out all of my cookie recipes!
Gift bags are perfectly fine – I like to re-use them a couple of times so they’re a more sustainable option, I think. My family also has a tradition of re-using wrapping paper, which is why we try to not use sticky tape which ruins it immediately… It’s a thing coming from my grandparents, they re-used wrapping paper a lot in the years after world war II (Europe) and somehow it became a family tradition of sorts.
I’m starting my holiday baking in earnest this weekend. I’m late this year but life got in the way and I’ll be enjoying it now.
My dad always wrapped our presents in newspaper when I was a kid.
Gift Bags for sure! And we re-use them too- it’s like seeing old friends under the Christmas tree since some of them are from many years ago. We have some matching ones so that both of our daughters could have the same bag if it was extra cute or if we were giving them the same item. Definitely a Christmas tradition.
I love this!
hey y’all- great list! Such yummy food! We are traveling back to our home state of Arkansas to see family! ( My husband and I live in Oklahoma- around a 3 hour drive) Can’t wait! Maria – We are so much a like. I don’t wrap either. Not good at it. I always give people gifts bags. Y’all have a blessed Christmas
