- We kicked off ski season at Alta. It felt good to be back on the mountain with my buddies.
- Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Do you watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade? We always turn it on while we cook.
- If you end up with leftover turkey, use it to make this or this soup.

- On the blog this week, a fall salad, an easy holiday appetizer, and a forever favorite!
- Happy Thanksgiving! We are celebrating at home, just the four of us. I’m looking forward to cooking together, watching football, eating delicious food, and relaxing! I hope you have a wonderful holiday. We really appreciate you making our recipes. We are grateful for you!!
- I finished Lincoln Lawyer, I love that show, but the ending!!! I want more! What are you watching?
- We are decorating for Christmas tomorrow. We always wait until the day after Thanksgiving, it’s tradition!
- I made these earlier this week. Why are they so good?
- Who’s ready to start baking ALL of the cookies? My hand is raised! I have LOTS of new cookie recipes coming your way in December, but if you want to get started, you can find LOTS of cookie recipes HERE! Also, my cookie cookbook, Let’s Eat Cookies, will be on sale TOMORROW for Black Friday! Don’t miss it!
- There are a lot of sales going on right now. Shop my gift guides!! Gifts for Her, Gifts for Him, Gifts for Kids & Teens, Kitchen Gift Guide, and Hostess Gift Guide. You can also check out my LTK Shop! I have been sharing lots of sales and favorite things! And I have a Black Friday post HERE!
- You can still get 35% off Geometry Towels with my code TWOPEAS15. This is the best discount they offer! And my Clean Simple Eats code TWOPEAS stacks on top of their sale! I love their vanilla, brownie batter, and coconut protein powder for smoothies, energy balls, and overnight oats.
- I love this holiday reading list.
- If you have company this weekend, this breakfast casserole is always a hit!
We are also celebrating with just the three of us( no guests) and after breakfast, I will be making the fresh cranberry sauce and then storing in the fridge. Next up, is baking the apple crumb pie and then a light lunch of soup and crackers. Dinner around 4 will consist of a turkey breast (just the right size) mashed potatoes, gravy, the cranberry sauce, heated rolls, green beans, carrots, and for dessert: the apple pie as well as a pumpkin pie, both topped with whipped cream! We plan on watching some of the parade, a movie or two (if they are short) and generally relaxing.
Enjoy your holiday!
Kathleen
