Pomegranate Blueberry Floats
Updated June 15, 2020
Cool down with a refreshing Pomegranate Blueberry Float!
Confession, I hate root beer floats. I probably hate root beer floats because I hate root beer. I’ve never been a fan. I just don’t understand why people would ruin good vanilla ice cream by pouring nasty root beer on top.
Anyways, enough about my issues with root beer floats. I do like ice cream and pretty drinks, so instead of making the traditional root beer float, I recently made Pomegranate Blueberry Floats. This is the kind of float I can fully support.
I made Pomegranate Blueberry Floats when our friends stopped by. I didn’t have any cookies on hand, shocking, I know, so instead, I got out some glasses and made floats. When you visit our house, you have to have a treat. It’s a rule:)
Floats are a great summer treat because they are simple to make and so refreshing!
To make the floats I used Lorina Sparkling Pomegranate Soda, fresh blueberries, and vanilla ice cream. That’s it! You only need three ingredients to make these gorgeous floats! I kind of feel bad posting this “recipe” because it is so simple. It’s not really a recipe. But I know you will thank me after you take one sip:)
The bright pomegranate soda is sweet and goes well with the creamy vanilla ice cream. I added blueberries because they are pretty floating in the float:) We sat on our patio sipping floats and catching up! It was the perfect summer night.
Savor summer by sipping away on a refreshing Pomegranate Blueberry Float! These floats are perfect for a lazy Sunday too! Enjoy!

This is like the best new kind of float!! I love the traditional floats but sparkling soda looks like it would be a great combination with the ice cream!
Yum! Looks delicious! Going to Cost Plus today, I’m going to look for the soda! Thanks for sharing!
Ugh, I hate root beer, too! Occasionally I’ll have a coke float, but these blueberry pomegranate floats look waaay better!
This is gorgeous and looks so refreshing! I love pomegranates and blueberries. Such a perfect and fun summer treat!
I like rootbeer, but I think I would like pomegranates and blueberries more.
I think this is a great idea! Why should root beer have all the fun?
Looks amazing! I don’t like root beer floats either. Pomegranates floats… Now your talking!
I actually love root beer…but this looks even better!!!
LOVE! I made red, white, & blue floats for 4th of July using Jones soda, next year I’ll use this pomegranate soda!!! xxoo
Such a great (and pretty!) twist on the usual float!
Definitely a better option to root beer, lovely drink.
This sounds awesome!
So pretty!
This looks so good! I love root beer floats, but I’m always up to try another! These definitely look a lot better than root beer floats though. The pretty colors along with the blue berries make it look more attractive. I’m definitely wanting to try this!
I don’t like root beer either, but these are floats I can fully support. So pretty!
I love root beer floats and I can get into this!! 🙂
I love pomagranate flavored anything, and these floats look perfect for summer!
I hate root beer and root beer floats too – I’d much rather this fruity float!! Blueberry & pomegranate is one of my fav flavor combinations!
Fruity desserts always make me feel so virtuous! Like, even though it’s ice cream, i’m still doing something good for myself. This sounds so refreshingly delicious!
I’m with you on the root beer float thing. Just give me the ice cream, please.
These look great!
Fruity sweets dependably make me feel so righteous! Like, despite the fact that it’s dessert, regardless i’m accomplishing something bravo. This sounds so refreshingly tasty!
