Pineapple Mango Green Smoothie

Have you tried a green smoothie yet? I shared one of my favorite green smoothie recipes a few weeks ago, so I hope you all tried it:) I make a green smoothie almost every day. I am kind of addicted. I keep playing around with the ingredients and I have come up with some winning green smoothie recipes. I really love this Pineapple Mango Green Smoothie. The tropical flavors of the pineapple and mango come together to create a very refreshing smoothie.

Pineapple Mango Green Smoothie Recipe on twopeasandtheirpod.com

This smoothie only has six ingredients and can be made in a matter of minutes. Fresh pineapple, mango, and banana blend together to give this smoothie a tropical twist. The spinach gives the smoothie the bright green color, but I promise you can’t taste it. And who doesn’t love green? It is my signature color:) I used almond milk, but any milk will do, just use your favorite. If you are looking for a new green smoothie recipe to try, give this Pineapple Mango Smoothie a go! I blend it up in at least once a week. It’s a good addiction to have-I promise:)

Do you have a favorite green smoothie recipe? I would love to hear your favorites! Thanks and have a great weekend!

  5. I make something similar and this flavor combo is definitely the best. Your green-ness is prettier than mine, though!

  6. i just finished my green smoothie as i was reading this! today’s was made up of frozen pineapple chobani and pumpkin, which sounds exceedingly weird but it wasn’t that bad!

if i had the patience to wait for mangoes to ripen (because they never seem to be ripe in the market), i’d totally make this ^_^

  7. I haven’t tried a green smoothie yet. What I really need is a new blender, but as soon as I get one I’ll try these out on the family. My boys will go wild for the green color!

  8. I love smoothies, there so refreshing and remind me of summer! I love pineapple and mago together. Looks delish!!

  9. I’ve been making green smoothies for awhile now. Back in May of 2011, I was introduced to Kim Snyder’s Green Smoothie and loved it! Occasionally, I’ll add in some protein powder if I know I’ve got a busy day ahead of me. I alternate veggies and fruit depending on what I have on hand. They’re a great way to kick off the day!

  10. Fabulous green smoothie! My “go to” green smoothie is 1 banana, almond milk, kale, cinnamon, and lots of ice. I love it. Can’t believe I’ve never tried making a tropical one. Definitely want to try making this! Love the straw too-I’m doing a straw giveaway right now ๐Ÿ™‚

  11. yum! i love green smoothies too. i make mine with greek yogurt, spinach, frozen bananas, strawberries, vanilla almond milk, and frozen blueberries. it’s AMAZING! so healthy too. ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. I’m SUPER addicted to green smoothies, and now my daughter is too. Yep, she’ll slurp up a kale, chia, celery and apple smoothie like it’s candy! So weird! But shoot, I can’t complain! I actually made one with mango yesterday, LOVE mango in them!

  13. I’m with you, I drink green smoothies several times a week. It’s such an easy way to get a big serving of veggies. I like adding spinach and kale to fruit smoothies and fresh ginger for a little zing. The other day I tried kale, banana, nf greek yogurt, raw oats and a little bit of peanut butter (for a treat) and it was delicious!

  14. I love everything about this smoothie and the picture – the color, the straw, and the napkin are all just gorgeous!

  16. I love a good tropical flavors smoothie — reminds me of summer! Off to check the guest post. Have a great weekend Maria, Josh & Caleb ๐Ÿ™‚

  17. I’ve never been too into green smoothies, but I really need to try them. I think I’ll see how my kids react to this recipe! They love tropical fruit, so it might be a good way to get some greens in ’em!

  18. That shade of green is so pretty! I really love tropical flavors, so this is definitely on my to-make list. ๐Ÿ˜€

  19. This sounds delicious. I make a smoothie every morning too! I mix up the ingredients regularly but the staples are always frozen berries, carrot juice, kefir milk and spinach or kale. Lately I have been adding fresh ginger and tumeric root for extra antioxidants. Delicious! Thanks for sharing.

  20. I adore green smoothies!! I make one that has strawberries, blueberries, flaxseeds, dandelion greens and kale! I love the tropical flavors in yours! Mmmmmm

  21. I love green smoothies too! It is such a great and easy way to add in the nutrients of spinach without the taste. I love seeing all of your fun combinations on your blog. I have done strawberries, apples, kiwi, blueberries with the spinach and it was excellent! Happy experimenting with green smoothies!

P.S. I adore your blog! Very inspiring ๐Ÿ™‚

  22. i do a green smoothie that makes me almost hurl, but I keep doing it because it’s so good for me. i should try yours for a dessert after my smoothie LOL

  23. Yummm!! Definitely will try this one. I had my first green smoothie tonight. 2 handfulls of fresh spinach, half a banana, 1/2 cup frozen cranberries, 1/2 frozen blueberries and 1 cup of soy milk.

  24. Maria, with the blendtec are there still pieces of pineapple? I just have a regular blender and I love pineapple but can’t handle drinking pieces of it (I can’t even handle pulp in oj- I’m weird). Just wondering because I’d love to invest in one.

    1. I love our Blendtec. It is amazing. It blends everything! There are no chunks in the smoothie:) I highly recommend Blendtec!

  25. I have my favorite green smoothie for breakfast today! I put mango in mine or pineapple. I haven’t used both at once yet though.

  26. I have not yet tried a green smoothie, but this looks delightful! Although the color would probably turn kind of strange I think this would also be delicious with some raspberries. And I like the idea that Noel Chapman added about also using some protein powder- I’m always looking to find ways to add protein to things for longer lasting energy. Have you tried using tofu in smoothies? I’ve done that a number of times and it is great because it just adds a little thickness and great soy protein but doesn’t really affect the taste at all. No wonder the smoothie can be such a wonderful health drink!

  27. drinking this right now…can’t even taste the spinach! i added a whole, small banana but next time I am going to just add half like you said because it overpowers the mango a bit.

  28. Fantastic green smoothie. First green smoothie I have ever done. The taste of the spinach wasn’t there at all. Tried something else by taking out the spinach and using cucumber instead. Was still great. The pineapple and mango mix are the sweetners.
    Great reciepe!!!!

  29. Is it possible to make these smoothies ahead of time and drink them throughout the week? For example, making them Sunday for breakfast on Monday-Wednesday?

  30. This sounds yummy! I love to make green smoothies because you can use the greens to balance out the sugars in your smoothie. Iโ€™ve really been liking this one I posted a video of on my youtube channel. Itโ€™s honestly soo yummy and easy to make! http://youtu.be/Pi1tqJX00ZU

  35. 5 stars
Thank you. That was delicious. I added a small chunk of ginger but otherwise didn’t change a thing and it was lovely ๐Ÿ™‚

  36. 5 stars
Very good I usually use a lemonade (from Costco) frozen pineapple and mango bits and add cake for the green and would eventually add the spinachย
But the banana was a new add and it’s very good ๐Ÿ˜‰ย

  37. Is our favorite smoothie in the morning we mix it with spinach and kale that is so awesome and so good for you thank you for sharing so many good recipes sure appreciate you.

  39. 5 stars
I just made this but I used Greek yoghurt as I didn’t have any almond milk, absolutely delicious!! And beautiful green colour!

  40. I would like to eliminate the milk and the sugar that comes with it. Almond milk isnโ€™t an option because Iโ€™ve developed an intolerance for almonds. Should I just add more yogurt?

  41. 5 stars

  43. 5 stars

  44. 5 stars
Super delicious! I hear the secret to a great smoothie is to combine part frozen and part fresh fruit, which you’ve done here, but will any combination work the same ? If I have frozen mango and fresh banana, for example

  45. So I made this smoothie but I did add more stuff like a little bit of lemon, oats & chia seeds (has no effect on the taste though), pineapple yogurt and water! Overall after putting these ingredients this was a pretty solid smoothie I would rate this smoothie a 4 out of 5! If you want it more sugary u can add honey, maple syrup , vanilla extract or other sources of sugar.
