Nutella Stuffed French Toast
Updated June 15, 2020
Nutella Stuffed French Toast-two pieces of French toast stuffed with Nutella. This decadent French toast recipe is perfect for special occasions!
French toast is one of my guilty pleasures. I love it and I’ll use any excuse to make it. Luckily, this time I don’t have to think of an excuse because this is a special decadent French toast recipe for a special day, Mothers Day! Mother’s Day is right around the corner and Nutella Stuffed French Toast is the perfect way to spoil mom on her special day.
I love using Nutella in desserts and this time I am sneaking it in to breakfast. Yes, Nutella for breakfast…trust me you will be thanking me after one bite of this stuffed French toast recipe!
There is no holding back on decadence when it comes to this recipe. This is not your average French toast! It is loaded with sinful ingredients that are well worth every calorie! This recipe is indulgent for a reason. I slather each piece of French toast with a nice helping of Nutella. Next, I top it with another piece of French toast before cooking it in sizzling butter. The French toast has a light golden buttery brown crust. And why stop there? I finish the Nutella Stuffed French Toast with a drizzle of syrup and a dusting of powdered sugar.
The warm and gooey Nutella combined with the crusty edges of this French toast is almost too good to be true. Its hard not to scarf down this recipe and even harder not to lick my plate clean! In fact, I recommend eating it with a tall glass of cold milk and some pants with an elastic waistband! ๐
Oh, and did I mention that I topped the French toast with Salt Caramel Syrup form Cost Plus World Market? Yup, you heard right, Salt Caramel Syrup. The syrup has a rich vanilla taste with a touch of maple and a pinch of salt. The salty sweet balance is just right. In other words…it’s mind-blowing! My head is already spinning into a sugar coma just talking about it!
The Nutella and Salt Caramel Syrup send this stuffed French toast right over the edge. Too indulgent? Never! Especially for an amazing Mothers Day brunch or breakfast! There is nothing wrong with splurging once in awhile, especially on Mother’s Day!
Make this Mother’s Day extra special and treat yourself and your mom to this Nutella Stuffed French Toast recipe! It will definitely leave anyone, mothers included, feeling loved!

So: I gave this nutella toast to my 12 yrs old son for breakfast once, with some slices strawberries and bananas to decorate (instead of the syrup).
Well, bye bye cereal, bye bye eggs, bye bye avocado toast and anything else he used to have for breakfast.
Since that day this is the ONE AnD ONLY breakfast he wants to have.
