As most of you know, we have been remodeling our kitchen and house for the past four months. It has been a long road, but we are done! Yahoo! It is finally time to share our new kitchen with all of you. I know many of you have been anxiously awaiting for the big reveal, so without further ado, welcome to Two Peas and Their Pod’s new Thermador kitchen.

First, I want to show a few photos of our kitchen before and during the remodel process. If you want to recap the entire process, check out Kitchen Remodel: Part One, Two, and Three.

As you can see, we had our work cut out for us. Luckily, Josh is a miracle worker and with the help of many family members and friends, we transformed our tiny, not so functional kitchen, into our dream kitchen. Here is our new kitchen!

The countertops are Caesarstone Concrete. We love them!

So what do you think? I get goosebumps every time I look at these photos. I still can’t believe this is our kitchen! We are very pleased with the outcome. It was worth all of the hard work!

Welcome home Two Peas and Their Pod, welcome home!

Thermador provided the appliances for our kitchen, but our opinions are our own.

When you have some time later, I’d love to know more about how you came to choose Thermador, how you like your appliances, your cabinets, your floor, etc., and if there are any tips you have on the remodel itself… like, how did you cook for yourself during that time??? Did you guys do all the work yourselves???

    Enjoy the new space!

Love the subway tile, love the white and dark gray/stainless, love the pot filler and beautiful range, love the way all of the storage is almost “hidden”- the cabinets are there for function and almost disappear into the kitchen, allowing the appliances and all of the high-end details you’ve added really shine. 74. It’s beautiful. Those photos look like they belong in a Martha Stewart magazine. Our “facelift” project that was supposed to cost $1,000, a little bit of sweat equity and mostly comprised of painting has taken a turn for the ridiculous. I’m trusting it will be worth it, but not looking forward to the interim. A post about how y’all managed would be SO helpful since I know you didn’t go on vacation for 4 months. 🙂

  75. Gorgeous! You guys did a wonderful job! Come do my kitchen! 🙂

I’m looking forward to the details! Btw, how do you keep your counters so clear of clutter? I know having 3 kids it will never be like that but still! 🙂

  123. Is your kitchen about 14×20? It looks about the size of our space. Did you have a professional design your layout? How did you go about the process of finding a designer? Thanks in advance.

    1. Hi, our kitchen is about 11×25. Josh and one of our designer friends did the layout. Are you in Utah? I can give you our friend’s information if you are interested.

  124. Okay, I am totally going to steal this kitchen!! Its is so perfectly simple, bright and beautiful. I have a galley kitchen and will be starting our remodeling project here in the next month. 132. Your kitchen looks amazing! We are going to start our kitchen remodel this year and one thing I’m having a hard time with is finding kitchen cabinets that are of quality. What brand/where did you get your kitchen cabinets. They look like they are nice quality.

  133. We are in the planning phase of our kitchen remodel. I came across your pics today and LOVE what you did with your kitchen. I, too, am thinking of white cabinets and hardwood floors. Forgive me if I missed it, but I searched your site for the name of the cabinets and didn’t find it. Would you mind telling me what cabinet manufacturer, door style, and finish you used? I’d also love to hear about any super-cool features you incorporated, like that cupboard with the bookshelf above it by the refrigerator. I need one of those along my refrigerator, too. Thanks in advance for answering my questions. The entire kitchen is absolutely stunning, and I’m just thrilled for you!

  148. How much did it cost you for this overhaul? We are about to do our kitchen, except we are keeping our cabinets. Everything else will be redone and replaced. Just curious!!

  149. This kitchen is breathtaking! Fantastic job! I know this post is very old now, but I’m hoping you can help me. I am redecorating a smal kitchen and I am trying to incorporate a peninsula similar to yours into my design. Your kitchen looks to be about 12′ wide, I’m guessing? Can you tell me what the dimensions are for your peninsula? It would help so much! Thanks in advance 🙂

  150. Hi – our upper cabinets are similar, and we have a small gap between them and the ceiling. Did you put that piece in after the uppers were installed or before? And, how did you connect it to the cabinets?

    Thanks 🙂

  151. can you tell me about your countertops? They are exactly what we’re looking for in our white kitchen. what are they? where did you get them?

  152. Awesome! Curious, what are the dimensions of your kitchen. Width from wall to wall and length from wall to the end of the bar (stoll side) Looking to do something similar…

  153. Beautiful transformation! As its been a few years, I imagine you have been enjoying it … ☺. That said, I scrolled through the comments to see if you posted the colour of the Caesarstone that you used as am looking for an engineered quartz that reads as a ‘ dark gray’ (no blue, brown or green) and I am wondering what you used as yours looks stunning! (i.e: Cement or Pebble ?) THANK YOU -Brenda-
P.S: Am upgrading one of my bathrooms and wish to pair it up with white vanities (BM White Dove) and a Porcelain tile that reads white and light grays. (by Ceratec – Harmony Elegance Series / colour ‘Blanco’. )

  154. So sorry when I posted the above it took me to this page and I now see that you used C-S ‘Concrete’ but I am still wondering how you would classify its undertone or is it a true gray. THANK YOU again …. -Brenda-

  155. Did you use the “Raven” Caesarstone kitchen countertops? I’ve been looking for pictures of this color since I’m about to do my kitchen. The sample I have seems too light in color, but your counters look nice and dark.
    Thanks!

  156. Hi Two peas, Just admiring your gorgeous kitchen and was wondering where you purchased the hanging light shades from, also what colour is your feature wall in the dining room. I’m hoping to find something similar here in New Zealand!
    Thank you

  157. Looks beautiful! I have that same color of Ceasarstone, unfortunately it is a huge pain to keep it looking like that! I’ve had it almost 6 years and the upkeep is killing me. Fingerprints, smudges, everytime I put anything on it, it leaves a mark 🙁 I’m desperately looking for some kind of sealer or something to coat it to make it matte or even change the surface! Hope yours is working out better than mine, maybe it’s been improved since 2010 ;).

  158. Did you ever do a post on your Caesarstone countertops? They are gorgeous, but see this is your old house! What color were they? Raven? We are picking our color now and am looking at “Pebble” but wondering if the grey has too  much beige in it….Yours is a perfect grey….HELP!!

    1. I am now able to see more recent posts to see it is called CONCRETE….THANKS!

  159. This kitchen is absolutely breathtaking! I love everything about it. you did an amazing job, thanks for sharing with us and keep sharing more blogs.

  160. I love your kitchen. I really love your cabinets. We are doing a kitchen reno in the next year. Can you tell me who made your cabinets? And, after almost 7 years, how are they holding up? Would you buy them again?

    Thanks!!

  162. Beautiful remodeling job. We’re doing something similar and would like to know the style of your counter-height chairs and where you bought them.

    Thx

  167. Beautiful!  Even >8 years later!

Please tell me about your floor. And, when was the house built? Where did you get your pendant lights?  I especially love that you took a smaller kitchen and made it beautiful and efficient. It’s tough to rework smaller spaces.

  168. I love the looks of the wood floor with gray accent. You have such wonderful taste in design! I was thinking about doing some remodeling this spring. My wife and I really enjoy reading your post!

  169. Fresh, clean and modern! I think it can be hard to make your kitchen look really contemporary and clean without making it look a bit too sterile but you’ve done it so well!

  170. I know it’s been quite a while since you posted these pictures but I am just getting ready to do a kitchen remodel myself and our kitchen layout is so similar to yours! And the dining area that opens into a large living space with a big window in the center is just like our floor plan, too! Right now we have two entrances into the kitchen but I’m considering closing off one of them but I’m not sure. This is kind of random because I know you don’t even know me, but would you mind telling me how you’re liking your kitchen floor plan after living with it for a while? Do you mind having only the one large entrance in and out? Are you glad you have the peninsula? And what’s on the other side of your kitchen wall? Ha! I have a lot of questions. Feel free to send me an email if you’d like. I’d love to learn a little bit more about your amazing remodel! Thanks!

  171. Hello! I just came across your blog, and I love the way your kitchen remodel turned out. We are starting to select appliances for our remodel, and we are considering Thermador appliances. Now that it’s been a few years, I would like to ask how you like your range top. I am shopping for the 36”, which looks exactly like yours. Are your wall ovens Thermador too? How have they performed? Thank you so much!
