Greek Tacos

Greek Tacos-mix up taco night and make these simple, fresh, and healthy Greek tacos!
Every week, I do a weekly meal plan for us and for all of you. I try to stick to them, but sometimes I get lazy or forget to go to the store. Last week, I was going to make Greek Tortellini Salad for dinner, but I didn’t have any tortellini. I bought all of the ingredients except the tortellini. Oops! So instead, I made Greek Tacos.
I love our Greek Tortellini Salad, but I am kind of glad I didn’t have any tortellini because now we have a new favorite dinner! These Greek Tacos are tasty!
Greek flavors are my favorite! I don’t know why I haven’t made Greek Tacos before!
Thank goodness we had Old El Paso Tortillas in the fridge! The lightbulb went on and I turned my Greek ingredients into super delicious tacos!
I topped the tortillas with cucumbers, tomatoes, kalamata olives, chickpeas, feta cheese, red onion, and tzatziki sauce. I had dinner on the table in about 15 minutes. You can’t beat that!
Mix up taco night and make these simple, fresh, and healthy Greek Tacos. They are going to be a regular at our dinner table!
Greek Tacos
Ingredients
- 4 to rtillas taco size
- 1 cucumber diced
- 1 cup grape tomatoes halved
- 1/2 cup kalamata olives pitted
- 1 15 oz can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 red onion sliced
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- Tzatziki sauce
- Fresh mint for garnish, if desired
- Lemon wedges for garnish, if desired
Instructions
- Top each tortilla with cucumber, tomatoes, olives, chickpeas, red onion, feta, and tzatziki sauce. Garnish with fresh mint and lemon, if desired. Serve immediately.
- Note-we like to warm up the tortillas before building our tacos. Use the microwave, oven, grill, or skillet on the stove!

Hi, these look really yummy! X
Greek food is my favorite! I love this Mexican/Greek fusion dinner idea! I definitely would have NEVER thought to ad chickpeas to the taco party, but love it! Pinned!
Great flavors for tacos!!! Mmm ๐
Love Greek flavors for every night of the week!
Two of my favorite flavors!! Bring on the tacos. OPA!
Yes!!
What a fun taco idea! I don’t think I will ever tire of Greek inspired foods.
If I would have started my black beans in the crock pot this morning for regular tacos, I would be making this tonight! Looks yummy and I can’t wait to try it. I already love your Greek Tortellini salad (it’s actually my favorite thing to make on Sundays for week day lunches) but in tacos just sounds amazing!
We love that salad too and now these tacos are a favorite! I hope you like them too!
Great idea! I love Greek and Mexican food. The perfect merger!
Yes, best of both worlds!
Yum! I love the idea of Greek tacos! So fun and summery!
I love this idea! I have been making Greek salads (adding quinoa and chickpeas instead of meat) every evening this week. I try to stock up on similar ingredients each week so I don’t waste food. I’ll have to add this Greek taco into my upcoming meal plan!
Great idea, I love all things Greek!
Love this Greek take on tacos!

These tacos look great!!
Oh, my gosh! What a terrific meatless meal—this would make a perfect lunch.
I just made this for dinner and added some chicken for extra protein. Woah, I am impressed with the flavor and it was so easy to make! I prepped the veggies the night before and only had to quickly whip up the chicken and we had a delicious, easy dinner. I will be saving this one for sure!
