Spinach and Feta Hummus
Updated April 28, 2011
The weather in Utah has been weird this week. We’ve had warm spring like days, heavy winds, lightning, rain, and now we are covered in snow. I really enjoyed the warm, sunny days, even if they were a tease. I can’t wait until spring comes to stay. Until then, I am going to eat Spinach and Feta Hummus, which reminds me of spring. It is refreshing, light, and bright green in color.
My good friend, Gaby, posted this recipe on Tasty Kitchen and I immediately added it to my recipe box. I knew we would love this hummus. If you have never made hummus at home, don’t be frightened. It is super easy to make. All you need is a a food processor or blender, the ingredients, and five minutes. The spinach and feta make this hummus extra creamy and delicious.
Head on over to Tasty Kitchen for step-by-step photos and the Spinach and Feta Hummus recipe.

YUM! I love the Tasty Kitchen blog! It is so inspiring!
A healthy snack that just got even healthier. This is a genius idea to add spinach and feta. I look forward to trying this.
This looks fantastic! Pita chips and hummus are my favorite after-school snack and I love your fancied up hummus 🙂
Would it be totally nerdy to file this one away for St Patty’s Day? Nerdy or not, I’m on a hunt for green foods even though it’s weeks away, and this totally fits the bill!
This is the perfect recipe for St. Patty’s Day! Great thinking!
Looks delicious! I love spinach, feta, and hummus so why not put it all together!
Made this but it was way too salty and I even halved the salt in the recipe beforehand. If I tried to make it again, I would definitely hold the salt.
Hmmm, thanks for the head’s up. I usually halve the salt in recipes anyway and then salt more to taste if need be. If even half is too much, though, I’m glad I know in advance. <3
Ooo, that looks delicious. I bet this stuff is scarily addictive, though, yikes.
made this tonight and both my one year old and i loved it! totally yummy- i didn’t have any tahini, but i don’t think it mattered- totally delicious.
The perfect dip. yumm
