- We went to The National Parks concert when we were up at the Pendry in Park City. They are a great band.
- Caleb starts junior high next week. This will be the first year the boys aren’t at the same school.
- Utah makes good milkshakes. If you live in Utah, make sure you try Maria’s cookie shake at Hires Big H this month or come visit.
- Meteor showers are happening this weekend. Don’t forget to look up.

- On the blog this week, a classic summer recipe, an easy lunch, and a decadent dessert!
- We spent the weekend at the Pendry Park City to celebrate Maxwell’s birthday and had the best time. We are soaking up every last second of summer!
- Love this for entertaining. This too…and it’s great for after school snacks!
- Today is S’mores Day! Celebrate with these, these, these, this (pictured above), or this fun s’mores snack! I guess I love s’mores, too many options, ha!
- I went to the library yesterday. I picked up this book and this book. Which one should I read first?
- I want to try this broccoli.
- I love this jacket for fall.
- How to take a power nap. I need these tips because I can never take a nap. I can lay down and relax, but never fall asleep during the day. Do you take naps?
- Back to school shopping brings me so much joy. Fresh notebooks, pencils, pens, folders…my boys don’t really care so I get to pick out everything for them:)
- I shared my Trader Joe’s staples here. What are your favorites?
- I love the colors in this cardigan.
- This recipe and this easy dinner are very popular right now. Have you tried them?
hey y’all- great list! Yummy food! I love that jacket. Cute family pic- glad y’all had fun. Looks amazing!! I love taking naps- almost everyday for me! I also love back to school supplies- oh so cool!!
Trader Joe’s teeny tiny avocados are a must buy!! The honey roasted sliced almonds are awesome with so many things. Burrata, individual bags of kettle corn, and Hold The Cone. And they are the only place I have ever found rambutan – which I love!!
May I ask without sounding rude or presumptuous bc you live in Utah.. are you of mormon faith? I am ignorant and always thought all of Utah was of that faith and I’m curious to know more about it. I love your blog and what I’ve heard is so closed minded and you just seen like the best people and as normal, if not more than anyone else. Sending love, hugs and best wishes for you four.
We are, but not everyone in Utah is:)
Both of your books look really good. It would be hard to choose but I do love reading Debbie Macomber. Her books read really fast.
I am reading it and so far I am loving it!
