EASY APPLE

GALETTE

This rustic, free-form Apple Galette is easy to make and tastes similar to apple pie. Serve with a drizzle of salted caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream for the ultimate dessert!

you'll need:

For The Galette Dough: All-Purpose Flour, Granulated Sugar, Cornmeal, Salt, Butter, Buttermilk

For The Apple Filling: Apples, Lemon Juice, Brown Sugar, Cornstarch, Cinnamon, Vanilla Extract, Allspice

For The Topping: Egg, Turbinado Sugar, Cinnamon

Make the dough. Refrigerate. Make apple filling and set aside.

Roll out the dough and place on a prepared baking sheet. Arrange apple slices on top. Fold the dough border.

Beat egg with a splash of water. Brush the edge of the dough with the egg. Combine turbinado sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over the galette crust.

Bake and let cool.
