1. More ski adventures at Park City. I took the boys on different days and Caleb skied blacks with me all day. It was great!
2. I took Maxwell for a morning and he had fun skiing and goofing around! At his age, it is all about it being fun.
3. Caleb has started reading chapter books and he loves non-fiction and the Magic Tree House books. Do you have any other book recommendations for our first grader?
4. We have been drinking celery juice every morning for a month now. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen any big changes with my eczema. I don’t think drinking celery juice is a bad thing though so we are going to keep juicing but we might start juicing other vegetables too. Any suggestions? I know none of them are going to taste good, but if I can chug them down in a glass and be done, I will do it!
5. The Oscars are on Sunday and there are so many movies we haven’t seen this year. We did watch Bohemian Rhapsody and it was really good.

1. New this week, bring on the carbs and one of our favorite EASY healthy snacks.
2. You guys, the cover of our cookbook is done and I love how it turned out. Seeing it makes it feel so real, not just a never ending project we have been working on behind the scenes..ha! And these chocolate chip cookies are in the book and I think you will love them. I have tested them one hundred times just to make sure:)
3. I have been using this for over 3 weeks and can definitely see a difference.

10. Perfect body builder.
11. Do I need another bag? I vote yes!
12. Would you be interested in a post about our favorite Salt Lake City restaurants? I get lots of questions on Instagram and emails on where to eat so I am thinking about putting all of our favorites in a post. Let me know!
13. Making these for dinner and I can’t wait!
14. How many have you seen? I got 55! I guess I love rom coms:)
15. Need these for spring.
16. Fun skirt!
17. The perfect salty snack for the Oscars! Or this if you are craving sweet! And this if you want BOTH!
Listing your favorite restaurants would be great. Made me think- would you think about listing high points to visit in your area? Salt Lake is a fly-in point to rent a car and travel . Would be great to stay there a day or two and site see since we are there!
Great idea! Thanks!
We have been reading a series with my preK and 1st grader about a little boy named Stink Moody (so the books are all called “Stink and the…”) There are 12 and we have read four and started #5 last night. So cute and funny and I love how they weave in some good life lessons. Easy enough for my 1st grader to read some himself or I take over.
These sound right up Caleb’s alley! Thanks!
Having had eczema for years and desperate I went to an acupuncturist and 5 visits GONE!!!! I It has been many years and it has not returned…I still go to an acupuncturist for “tune ups” but wow…I had tried everything…go check it out
He has tried acupuncture, but no luck:( Thanks for sharing. I am glad it worked for you!
My son, a 2nd grader, is a HUGE fan of the Who HQ series of books…Who Is, Who Was, What Is, What Was, Where Is? They are about real people, places, and events. While he may not understand every single word, he gets the better part of the story. He likes the Magic Treehouse books as well.
Those sound fun, we will check them out! Thanks!
hey y’all- great list! The food looks so yummy! I think I might go out and buy living proof body builder today at Ulta! Looks like what I need. Love the skirt- so cool! I would love to see where your favorite restaurants are. and- Can’t wait for your cookbook to come out!
Thanks so much!!
Love your posts. I highly recommend the Magic School Bus series for your son’s reading pleasure. I think the age/stage is right. It’s not new, but our (now 24 year old) son loved the series, both in book form and on TV. We still quote it sometimes.
Thanks so much! We will try those with Caleb.
Check out the Sugar Creek Gang books. My nephew liked them. I’d love to see a post about your favorite restaurants! My husband travels to SLC for work and I like to go with him when I am able. Eating is always my favorite part of any trip!
Thanks and we will work on our SLC guide!
Have you discovered the Calvin and Hobbes books yet? They are a delight for kids and their parents! LOVE your blog! Thank you for all the smiles you give your blog readers with each post ^_^
Thanks! We will check them out!
My first grader has been reading Bad Kitty books, they’re funny. He also liked Stick Dog (see a theme here??!!).
That is a cute top!!!
My son enjoyed Magic Tree House also. He read the A to Z Mysteries around the same time. My daughter enjoyed Junie B Jones.
Heck yes… would love to hear what your fav Salt Lake restaurants are. We were there last week and enjoyed Spitz, Hires, Original Red Iguana and Tuile but are always looking for something new!
Favorite places to eat in SLC yes please.
