Updated March 26, 2019
No Bake Cookies with Peanut Butter and Pretzels – the easiest and BEST no bake cookies you will ever make! The sweet and salty combo is to die for!
I’m a Big No Bake Cookie Fan!
Raise your hand if you are a fan of the famous no bake cookies? You know, the chocolate peanut butter oat cookies that are made on the stovetop and don’t even require an oven! I am a HUGE fan. I’ve been making no bake cookies since I was a little girl. They have always been one of my favorite cookies. I remember making them all of the time during the holidays or during the hot summer months. If it was too hot to turn on the oven, we would make no bake cookies! The only problem, they never last long because they are SO good!
Best No Bake Cookies
Well, I just made the traditional no bake cookies better by adding pretzels and sea salt. Yep, these No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Cookies are almost too good to be true. The sweet and salty combo is amazing and you’ve gotta love the no-bake part, especially since it is sweltering outside. These cookies are the perfect summer cookie!
And these no-bake cookies are almost too easy to make. Not only do you not have to turn on the oven, you probably have all of the ingredients in your kitchen right now.
Bit of Salt with Lots of Sweet
I especially love these no bake cookies because the pretzels go so well with the chocolate, peanut butter, and oats. I also add sea salt to the recipe and sprinkle a little sea salt on top. I am telling you, all of these ingredients combined make one delicious cookie.
If you are craving something sweet, make these No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Cookies. If you are craving something salty, make these No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies. These cookies are perfect for whatever craving you are having! I can make them in no time and they always hit the spot!
No Bake Cookies Worth every Bite
These chocolate no bake cookies only take about 15 minutes to make, plus some time for the cookies to set up. But who waits for no bake cookies to set up? Not me! The best part is licking the pan clean and grabbing big blobs of cookies from the wax paper….even if they aren’t set up. I can never stop myself.
You can make the cookies gluten-free by using gluten-free oats and gluten-free pretzels.

My two favorite things in the world, chocolate and peanut butter, in a cookie. And I don’t have to bake. Awesome!
Sounds like perfection! Do these go stale quickly bc of the pretzel?
Oh my, I just made butterscotch no bakes a few weeks ago. Everyone loved them, but they were a little sweeter than I prefer. I am definitely adding pretzels next time. I am sure it would make them perfect!
Any idea on what I could use instead of peanut butter……
Almond butter or sunflower butter
Can you use coconut oil instead of unsalted butter?
These look awesome! Do you think I could use less sugar?
I have only made the recipe as is. Let me know if you try it!

These are amazing! Made a batch last night and my husband and I cannot stop eating them. So bad yet SO good! Love the sweet and salty combo with the pretzels and think I will add more pretzels next time. A must-try and highly recommended!
Yay! Glad you enjoyed the cookies!
Could crunchy peanut butter be used or would it take away from the cookie? It’s all I have right now and want to try these..
I haven’t tried crunchy peanut butter, but I am sure it would still be good!
Could I cut the sugar down?
I haven’t tried to. Let me know if it works for you!
Man, did I read this recipe at the right time. I’m 7 months pregnant and it’s way too hot to bake. But I’m still craving baked goods! This recipe is delicious. I’ve already shared it with a neighbor, who made it for a potluck to rave reviews. Thanks!

Cocoa powder
Hi I made these and they were awesome. I would however do at least 1/2 cup less oats and perhaps 1/2 cup more pretzels. They were very oat-y.
The dish is delicious.I tried it and my kids love it.I want to thank you for this Informative and interesting blog.

When I click on the “Print Recipe” button and it brings up the print page, it includes the youtube video above the recipe header, which makes the recipe take 2 pages instead of just one. Not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things, but a little bit of a hassle to copy and paste so I can print just the recipe.
Sorry for the complaint – I really do love your blog! ๐
I am so sorry. I will make sure we get this fixed ASAP! That is annoying:) Thanks for your patience.
i like your page but sometimes it hard to get the recipe i want
This reminds me of chocolate covered pretzels! And with peanut butter added too? HEAVEN ๐
Can you use fat free milk?
Sure!
Hello! Thank you this easy recipe! Mine did not turn out like yourโs did. My cookies are a lot more โrunny.โ They spread out . They did not stay mounded, like the ones in your picture. Can you help me figure out what caused this?ย
Thanks!ย

Do you think you coukd make these with all pretzels and no oats? My granddaughter I’d allergic tho oatmeal and I’d like to find a substitute for the oatmeal. Pretzels sounded awesome until i saw you still used oats.
I love the fact that these were so easy to make and such a crowd-pleaser. Thank you for the recipe!
Glad you liked the cookies!
Can I use regular butter if I donโt have no salt butter?
Yes!
Can you use stevia sugar instead of regular sugar?
I haven’t tried the recipe with Stevia.
We have a few diabetics in our family. What can I substitute for the 2 cups of sugar. We use stevia but sugar adds some of the bulk to the recipe that stevia wouldn’t. Thank you so much for sharing all your fabulous recipes.
I haven’t tried them without sugar, sorry!
My 8-year-old made these today with only a little assistance. We halved the recipe, as to not have so many sitting around the house….ha. Her mixture was too crumbly at first and the cookies fell apart when she put them on the wax paper. She worked pretty slowly though, so that may have been the reason. I added an extra splash of milk and then they formed just fine. I think the sugar amount could be lowered. I’ll maybe give that a try next time. That is just a personal preference though – recipe is tasty!
Just made these. They are absolutely wonderful, thank you for sharing the recipe. My question is, mine seem dry not at all loose like you show in the video. Are they suppose to be that way? The flavor is sooooo good, the pretzels are perfect, like I say mine are dryer. Any suggestions?

Sorry for 2nd post. I didn’t think I’d sent it.
I haven’t tried them with just pretzels.
These are SO good! They set up well, while maintaining moisture. The pretzels and sea salt take them above and beyond! Thank you!
These are great. I made a 1/4 recipe to experiment. Instead of heating the mixture. I rolled into small balls , 20 grams, and microwaved 1 ball for 45 seconds. Let cool 4 minutes. Still slightly warm. .Very good. The rest of the dough I will chill and make as needed.
Don’t usually make comments on recipes, but I took these no bake cookies with pretzels to our Church this Sunday. Was not sure how they would go over, but had several compliments and three people actually asked for the recipe. Some of our church members are gluten and dairy free so I substituted coconut oil for the butter and some planet oat for the milk. I felt these cookies were too sweet for me, but friends loved them. Only had 4 left over out of the whole batch. Thanks. (It is too warm to turn my oven on.)
Oh good! I am so glad you everyone loved them!
