I think Valentine’s Day is a fun holiday. Candy hearts, boxes of chocolate, flowers, cute Valentine cards-what’s not to love? Since calories from sugar don’t count on Valentine’s Day-I always eat my fair share of sugary sweets. One of my favorite treats is a Grilled Nutella and Raspberry Sandwich. I have been making and eating these sandwiches since I was a little girl.

These sandwiches are so easy to make. All you have to do is spread Nutella and raspberry jam on two slices of bread, grill to perfection, and serve warm. The Nutella and raspberry jam melt together to create the most delightful sandwich. To keep things festive, I cut out a heart shape in the middle of the sandwich. The Nutella and jam may ooze out the side, but that is all part of the fun.

Grilled Nutella and Raspberry Sandwiches are perfect for Valentine’s Day. Serve as dessert, a sweet snack, or even breakfast. Nutella for breakfast is allowed on Valentine’s Day, remember sugar calories don’t count:)
